My wildest experience ever!
One of my closes friends was on rafting trip and she spoke a lot of her experience. That was river rafting at Tara in Bosnia.
I always wanted to do rafting so I decided to go and try that experience at Tara too. It was spring and the snow on the mountains had started to melt and the water level was very high and very wild. That is the place where there were just mountains, river, animals and beautiful nature.
We slept in little wooden houses and everything was like a story. The food was beautiful, everything was organic, fresh and traditional.
Now I want to tell you about the rafting. We had special waterproof suits and all equipment for rafting given by the camp. We had four boats. On every boat there were ten people and the most important thing on our boat was the skipper telling us what to do. The river was 15 kilometers long and 20 meters wide and so wild that’s made our rafting experience exciting.
Everybody was so nervous and nobody knew what awaits them until the end. We had two stops on the 15 km river and visited one of the most beautiful waterfall I had ever seen.
In the end of our trip when we arrived in our camp, people who worked there prepare for us hot dishes, soups and drinks and in the center of the camp was a fireplace. The atmosphere was awesome.
Every night our camp had a party with interesting national music and traditional dishes. The camp had people from different countries and was interesting to me that everybody had fun on their own way.
Same like my friend, I will always suggest to people who likes wild sports to go and try rafting. If I have a chance I would go again, but next time I will go on another destination.
